Many a times, we do things, just to feel accepted by other people. We may do it out of love or compassion for others’ or sometimes we are forced to do things, out of peer pressure, that compromise our Authenticity, is against our grain, is against our TRUE SELF.
There are other times when we do things because we really cherish and love that association, which takes us to a higher state of consciousness, broadens our inner and outer vision and is completely aligned with our authenticity and our True Self.
In the 1st instance above, we end up pleasing everyone around, whilst we ourselves become miserable as time goes on.
In the 2nd instance, although the circle groups or friends or people in our Life become smaller, we ourselves ascend to higher levels of happiness, fulfillment and peace.
It takes great courage to be authentic and TRUE to YOUR “SELF”.
SELF CARE ISN’T SELFISH
[However, Being True to your SELF does not mean that you can maraud other people in your path. You need to be mindful of other peoples feelings lest you pick up an unnecessary karmic connect with the other.]
